All those who have worn the most recognized division insignia in the world are welcome and encouraged to join the Carolina Chapter of the 101st Airborne Division Association. As a member of the Association, you will help us carry on a legacy that our comrades began back in World War II, carried forward at Fort Campbell from 1956 until present, the Vietnam years 1965-1972, The Gulf War, Afghanistan, Iraq, and other places around the world.
In order to join the Carolina Chapter you must also be a member of the National 101st Airborne Division Association. Membership dues for the Carolina Chapter in 2010 is $15. Membership for the National Association is only $30.00 for a one year membership and $135 for a five year membership. Membership in the National Association includes quarterly issues of the Screaming Eagle Publication. This fine publication is full of information about upcoming events, personal stories, memorabilia items for sale, news of our foreign friends, current news of the active division at Fort Campbell, and much, much more.
If you never served with the 101st, you can become an ASSOCIATE MEMBER of our association. Friends, relatives, spouses, and other interested parties can belong to the association for the same price.
When you become a member, you will receive a membership pin, but most importantly you will receive membership cards for the Carolina Chapter and for National that identify you as a proud Screaming Eagle. You will be able to attend our annual reunions, the 64th will be held at Hampton, Virginia from September 9 -13, 2009 (see reunion details at News). Your descendants are also eligible to apply for our annual Chappie Hall Scholarship grants (see program details).

All the members of the Carolina Chapter of the 101st Airborne Division Association extend to you the hand of comradeship. You are cordially invited to any of our activities to participate on a trial basis. We are confident you will react as most of our members do when they rejoin the company of our vets and outstanding active duty troopers. If for some reason you can't join us now, we understand. But please send along the names and addresses of anyone residing in your area that has served with the 101st Airborne Division so they may be given an opportunity to become a member. We look forward to seeing your name in the "New Member Section" of the next "Screaming Eagle" Publication. |
